Are animated movies cheaper to make?

Firstly, most animated movies are created using computer-generated imagery (CGI) technology, which eliminates the need for expensive sets, props, and location shooting. This also means that production costs can be spread out over a longer period, as animation takes longer to produce than live-action footage. Secondly, animated movies typically require fewer cast and crew members. In a live-action movie, you need actors, stunt doubles, makeup artists, hairdressers, and a whole host of other people. In comparison, most of the work in an animated movie is done by animators and voice actors. However, this doesn't mean that all animated movies are cheaper to make. High-end animated movies, like those produced by Mango Animate, can be just as expensive to produce as live-action movies. They also require a team of talented animators, writers, and directors to bring them to life.
