In the first meeting, we discussed the learning contract for the semester, outlining the structure of the course, including group discussions and presentations from weeks 1 to 8, followed by a focus on final projects. The final products can include coursebooks, journals, digital resources, videos, and student worksheets, with all materials aligned with CP, KKTP, and IKTP (phases D and E).We emphasized the importance of using authentic materials that are thematic and the need for all teaching materials to incorporate collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, cognition, and principles of 21st-century learning. The media must be technologically and pedagogically advanced, containing key concepts, facts, procedures, and metacognitive elements.Content structure should follow a core, contrast, bridging, and strengthening (conclusion) format, with facts presented through analogies, such as narratives from folklore. Procedures should detail how to construct narrative texts, including language features and sentence formulas. The learning design may utilize PBL, PjBL, or DBL approaches to facilitate communication and collaborative activities among students, ultimately enhancing their English language application in real-life contexts.
