Myself Jigyasu Gaur from Dronacharya College of Engineering and my Problem statement number is 1707.The Smart Employee Attendance System is a mobile application designed to automate and streamline attendance management for organizations with multiple locations and remote workers. The system addresses common challenges such as manual errors, inaccurate overtime tracking, and difficulties in handling offsite work.Key features include geolocation-based check-ins, facial recognition for secure attendance logging, and offline mode for areas with poor connectivity. Geofencing automatically tracks check-ins and check-outs within a 200-meter office radius, while facial recognition ensures identity verification for the first and last attendance of the day, as well as overtime. Admins can approve offsite work, and employees can manually check in from offsite locations with GPS-based suggestions.The app is built using React Native, Node.js for backend services, and MongoDB for data storage. Security is ensured with AES 256 encryption for data protection and JWT for authentication. The system can operate offline by using Room Database, syncing attendance data once internet connectivity is restored.Overall, this system offers a robust, secure, and scalable solution to improve attendance tracking accuracy and flexibility while reducing administrative overhead for large organizations.
