To start with, it is good to know that Ukrainian workers have the same rights as Dutch workers. The minimum wage of 2024 for employees with the age of 21 and above is €13,27 per hour. You will simply get paid if you are ill, your employer has no right to know what kind of illness you have.As an employee you are entitled to holiday hours (leave) every year. According to the law, this is at least 4 times the number of hours you work per week. As an example: if you work 32 hours per week, you are entitled to 128 holiday hours per year.In the Netherlands you must pay incometax. If you earn €75.518 or less per year, you must pay 36,97% of your income in taxes.
