[Identifying Sources of Stress]Two major sources of stress I currently face are personal relationship stress with my mom and school work-related stress.[Coping with Stress]To cope with personal relationship stress, I usually shut everyone out and listen to music. For school-related stress, I tackle assignments based on their due dates.These methods are a mix of emotion-focused and problem-focused coping strategies.[New Emotion-Focused Strategy]For the rest of the semester, I will implement journaling or story writing as an emotion-focused strategy to cope with my personal relationship stress.[New Problem-Focused Strategy]As a problem-focused strategy, I will start my assessments as soon as I get them.[Implementation Plan]To implement these strategies, I will create a to-do list and keep my devices out of reach to stay focused.By using these strategies, I hope to manage my stress better and have a more productive semester.
