Life wasn't easy, but it shaped me into who I became.In the mid-1980s, I co-founded the legendary rap group N.W.A. with my boys Dr. Dre and Ice Cube. We had a vision to speak our truth and shed light on the realities of life in the hood.In 1991, I ventured out on my own and released my solo album, Eazy Does It. It was a massive success, and it solidified my status as a solo artist.However, in 1995, things took a turn for the worse. I started feeling sick, just a little cough, nothing too serious, but then it got worse. I couldn't shake it off.The doctors told me I had contracted HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. Damn, that hit me hard. I couldn't believe it.I knew I had to come clean, not just for myself, but for everyone out there. I wanted to raise awareness about this disease, especially in the hip-hop community.
