The researchers dedicate this research to the brave and determined students who face unique challenges due to speech and hearing impairments. Inspired by their resilience, the researchers developed the Unidirectional Immovable Filipino-Hand Gesture Glove: Enhancing Communication for Speech and Hearing-Impaired Students, a tool that aims to empower and enhance communication for these exceptional children and regular students, as well as the special education teachers who can utilize and improve teaching tools.May this innovative tool serve as a beacon of empowerment, breaking barriers, and fostering a more accessible educational environment and compassionate space for learning for both students and special education teachers at Tabunoc Central Elementary School.The Unidirectional Immovable Filipino-Hand Gestures Glove is a technology that enhances communication for speech and hearing-impaired students. It uses hand gesture recognition to send and receive information without feedback. The glove integrates flex sensors and accelerometers for Filipino-hand gesture recognition, and text display for visual output and voice recognition capabilities.
