A few years later, in 2011, another machine appeared, this time called Watson. Its mission was not to defeat a chess grandmaster, but the champions of the popular TV competition Jeopardy! Watson's ability to process language and answer questions was so astounding that it beat the best human players, once again pushing the boundaries of what AI can do. The story continued in 2016, when the AlphaGo program surprised the world by beating a master at the old and complex board game Go. That was the moment AI showed it could not only process information, but also think strategically and overcome human intuition. In 2019, GPT-2 arrived on the scene, a program capable of generating texts that were so fluid and coherent that it was hard to distinguish them from human-written texts. And a year later, GPT-3 brought even greater capabilities, including code generation, which opened up new possibilities for developers and content creators. By 2023, AI had become less of a sci-fi movie concept and more of a reality as it seamlessly integrated into our daily routines1. People began to use these tools not only for curiosity or entertainment, but also for educational assistance, content creation, advice seeking, and even coding1.
