The universe was born 13.8 billion years ago. Scientists named this event Big Bang. The universe began its journey through an explosion from a point of infinite density. Since then the universe has been expanding. Interestingly, this explosion has no center. Wherever you go in the universe, you see the universe expanding. See everything in space is moving away from you!Imagine the universe as an inflated balloon. You or I are a dot on this balloon. There are many more planets, stars, galaxies around. Mark them as points. Now the more the balloon is inflated, the more the points will move away from each other at an even rate. No matter where you are, you will feel that the universe is expanding from here. Thus no center of the universe can be found.
