The researchers dedicate this research to the brave and determined students who face unique challenges due to speech and hearing impairments. Inspired by their resilience, the researchers developed the Unidirectional Immovable Filipino-Hand Gesture Glove: Enhancing Communication for Speech and Hearing-Impaired Students. This innovative tool aims to empower and enhance communication for exceptional children and regular students, as well as for special education teachers who can use and improve teaching tools.This innovative tool at Tabunoc Central Elementary School may serve as a beacon of empowerment, breaking barriers, and fostering a more accessible educational environment and compassionate space for learning for both students and special education teachers.The Unidirectional Immovable Filipino-Hand Gestures Glove is a technology that enhances communication for speech- and hearing-impaired students. It uses hand gesture recognition to send and receive information without feedback. The glove includes flex sensors and accelerometers for Filipino hand gesture recognition, as well as a text display for visual output and voice recognition capabilities.
