[Voiceover]Narrator: Once upon a time, there existed a supercontinent known as Pangea. But deep beneath the Earth's surface, powerful forces were at work. The movement of tectonic plates caused Pangea to slowly break apart. Over millions of years, these tectonic forces caused the landmass to fracture, creating rifts and separating the continents from each other. As the continents drifted away from each other, they formed the shapes and landmasses that we recognize today as our continents. And so, the breakup of Pangea gave rise to the diverse and interconnected world of continents that we inhabit today. The story of Pangea reminds us of the ever-changing nature of our planet and the powerful geological forces that shape our world.
