End of abdomen contains venom sac and stinger. When honeybee stings a person, the stinger goes inside the skin and gets stuck inside it. However, honeybee uses force to escape from it. Due high force, the stinger gets separated from the abdomen. Thus, abdomen of honeybee after stinging gets damaged and hence it dies after few seconds. Therefore, for a honeybee to harm others means to harm itself.
