We have found that many students don't have access to Internet outside of NUST. As this is an important component of a students tertiary education and NUST WIFI is many times unreliable and many times slow, a new way for students to access the internet needs to be found. In comes NUST connect. It is made up of three components. The main component is the redesigned pocket Wi-Fi, with the latest technology, it features a ethernet port to directly connect your laptop or pc a USB c for fast charging and universal charging with your other devices, detachable antennas to increase its signal strength, internal antennas have also been improved, it features WIFI 6 which allows more people to connect with negligible speed degradation, and gps tracking is installed to in the event of losing the device or if it was stolen. The second component is the mobile app and website, to highlight a few features. When opening the app or website and logging in with your student number and password, you will be greated by your balance, how much data you have left as well as your balance to buy data, this will become important in the next component. Moving over to navigation bar or hamburger icon, we will find packages.It allows users to buy data with their credit cards or add costs to their student balance due on their kiosk(limits can be set for each month on their kiosk by their financial providers). We have monthly packages that can again be paid either from the user bank account or the cost can be added to their students balance due.
